its the start of "heat checking". keep an eye on them as long as the cracks dont expand you can keep using the primary.
will it effect anything now? i mean the only time the belt is that low is when its idling correct? thanks for the quick response

yes watch them closely, that can get larger and show up at the back. i had to replace two. also thats not the first one that had this happened. pretty common. 3:16 (yammie tony)
thanks again for the response, if they won't effect performance in the state they are in now, ill defiantly keep a close eye on them. I'm generally really good about replacing parts on my snowmobile. id rather spend the money now, instead of a lot more money in the future
