Hello all, needing some help with my suspension. Ive got an 04 viper mtn that I put a pro mountain skid in, found in the 05 vipers. Im having a hell of a time getting it to transfer, like worse than a pro action bad. It rides very smooth on the trail but when i crack the throttle there is no transfer just blows the track out. Ive checked all measurments from an 05 and its all correct. Is there an adjustment im missing? Limiter straps are loose, rear shock is on soft, front shock is stiff. These do still have transfer rods in the rear but not like a proaction. What gives?

Ditto. Loosen the front shock. There is probably too much weight resting on the skis if the front shock is too tight it acts more like a pivot point. I think you would have to weigh about 300# in order to over come the spring tension and actually get the shock to compress and transfer the weight of the front end to the rear of the sled. Loosening preload close to zero and stiffening the rear a little would allow for more weight transfer and more traction :sled1:
