Well I needed 2 more sleds like I needed a hole in my head but I spend to much time watching craigslist and saw and 84 in mint condition which I always wanted called them up and the guy said he was also selling a 96 red phazer II. I really only wanted the 84 but after seeing them in person and seeing the shape that they were in I couldn't pass on the pair. The 84 has 2800 miles and the 96 has 1400 both are the nicest phazers I have seen in years I'm definetly planning to keep the 84 but would consider selling the red 96 anyone interested? located in central pa

Nice find! Any mods planned for the '84? What do you want for the '96? Just curious, my family would kI'll me if I brought another home. What did you pay; I did find a pretty nice '91 but think $1500 for it (1600 miles) might be too much.

It would be good to keep the 84 in nice shape. It is a classic sled and is soon getting to the point it will be more sought after as a vintage sled. Being the first year will add to the collectible status.

I'l try and get pics in a few days the 84 is going to remain stock its was missing the stickers on the skis thank you ebay as I found them and should be here in a few days. the 84 is going to be a vintage show and vintage trail rider and sit in the barn next to my 69 sl 351 which is in good shape but could use a resto.

i just used out together an 84 with 750ish original miles. had no idea it was collector status. funny part was the trip meter matched the odometer until i replaced that little knob used to reset the trip. now the trip reads about 2/10's more than the odo.
aquired the rolling chassis years ago on a trade deal and sold a few parts off of it along the way. ended up using a bunch of spare parts i had laying around to make it go including building an engine from parts. had to cut a pz II seat down to fit, picked up an oil tank and misc locally, an now she runs like a champ.
not quite original, but close. e-start on it and a few customs. we use it for sled transport(hammerheads) along with the old 83 enticer on our icy hill after a days ride on the other sleds.
