Does the srx take the same belt as an apex?

All 4 stroke belts will fit. They say phazer belt wont but i have one on my sx700 soo?

probley catch flack. i will say no. two belts here 8dn-00 and 8dn-01. there was a huge post here about this. the 8dn-01 is a 4 stroke belt. the 8dn-00 is the two stroke belt. the 8dn-01 is wider and dose make for afew changes to work on a srx. with that said, sure it will work, but like the two strokes yamaha killed the two stroke belt. i have a stack of 00 belts. i won,t run a 01 on either of my srx,s. but thats just me. 3:16 (yammie tony)
^^^ Correct info. right there^^^ it will work, but slightly wider and can't say for sure that the compound used is identical...
