There was a thread on here about a year, maybe a year and a half, ago about someone looking at making some stainless valves. Did that ever get done? If so how are they holding up?

I had my SS valves made by a machinist friend of mine...they are a one of and only made as a favour to me.
The fellow that said he was going to manufacture and sell them on here seems to have gone silent.

Nice! That is one heck of a friend! What would be charge us to make some more?
Being a machinest, probably a lot more than new ones from the dealer lol.
Those do look nice, but looks like a lot of time to make. Your lucky Bob.

Does anyone have access to a CNC scanner. So it can be put in 01s and 0s?

He did these by hand on a milling machine...charged me $240.00 for the three of them and I gave him $300.00.
These were a one shot deal...I am very lucky!

LOL!
You are right about that! It was hard to bury these into the abuse of the exhaust of an SRX!
The machinist that made these for me is the same guy that built a 3 cylinder out of a VMAX4 back in the day. The triple VMAX3 was built as a direct response of Tim Bender completely destroyed the other manufacturers back in the FIII racing and then they made 4 cylinders illegal to take the VMAX4 out of the running.
The three cylinder VMAX3 had limited success.
