Hello everyone I'm new to this sight and see by reading a lot of post that everyone is very helpful and has lot of foresight on Yamaha questions. So here's mine. I have a 02 viper that I got four years ago that goes very good.last guy that had it,which I personally knew had a sled shop set it up very quick for 660-1000 ft.It breaks a 100 in 660 and about 108-110 top out. So my question is I'm going thru Mr clutches just for cleaning and inspection and would like to change out my springs for new.they are black primary and black secondary.does anyone know what the spring force is on these springs because they vary from maker to maker regardless of color. Any input would helpful

There are more colors on the spring. Or at least there was at one time. Once they're off and in your hand, don't immediately rub the dust and shtuff off of it. Doing that might just take any identifying paint off.

Thanks for the input. I could find any other paint marks on spring.I did call hauck performance, and they said most likely its the spring they would use at 55kg-125kg or 125ft lb.-275 ft lb. I took it to work and compressed on scale and it was pretty close to what they said within 2-5 lbs. I put it back in and will deal with when I really have to ,thanks for your input.
