Hey y'all. I recently picked up a 91 Phazer II. Sled's super clean but hadn't been run in a few years. I replaced all the fuel/oil injection lines and tore down, cleaned and rebuilt the carbs and fuel pump. I was amazed how the thing started with just half choke and a quick bump of the starter after the rebuild. It starts super easy and idles great. Don't have enough snow yet to put her through the paces yet on the trails but I've been zipping around the back yard and it seems to run pretty darn good. It's zippy. My only problem is that it seems to be sucking gas like crazy. I mean you can almost watch the level going down on the gauge before your eyes and it's smokes like hell. Thick cloud of oil smoke. After a 15 minute ride the gas level dropped from full to just below half on the gauge. I know the gauge isn't that accurate but still, where the hell is all that gas going and why all the smoke?

Thanks for the tip. I'll rip into the carbs tomorrow and make sure the floats are set to spec. Could that be responsible for that much fuel useage?
