Ihave a 84 Enticer that I cannot get running, It is not getting fuel. If I put a little fuel in the cylinders it will run til it burns off. I did clean the carb. but I dont think there is fuel getting to the carb? Any suggestions? Is that a fuel pump of some kind mounted on the frame below the oil tank?

fuel pump is below the oil tank on the frame usually. if it has sat for a long time, you might need to do the pulse line from the pump to the bottom of the motor as they do rot out. otherwise, just keep going with the gas down the cylinders. i have seen it take 3-4 times on the old kehin pumps and carbs before they start running on their own. took us 3 times with an 1990 et400t/r on saturday to get it running as it had been 6 months since we last started it.

check the pulse line from the bottom of the case to the pump (black line) they usually split on the bottom of the nipple coming out of the block. also give the carb a rap with a screw driver handle in case the needle is stuck in the closed position.
