Yes I am limited by the road conditions. Wife has an all wheel drive Nissan Rogue but didn't want me putting a hitch on it it so I had to do what I had to do. It actually tows no problem as long as the road conditions aren't too bad.

I put winter tires all around to balance the grip on F.W.D. cars.

Back in the early '90s, my tow vehicle was a Ford Tempo.

I've got 4 brand new snow tires on it and the trailer is pretty light (350 lbs or so) so it's not too bad. I wouldn't try it in a snowstorm but I have a friend with a two place enclosed if the weather is really bad. The places we go are relatively close to where I live. I am going to make some sort of a salt shield for the trailer at some point..

I have a friend who towed a double wide (with no enclosure) with an 83 Volkswagen GTI back in the day!

Thanks roudyroy1! it's a 2008 Karavan KSL-50-8. I bought it used for $350. The sled is a 1999 Yamaha V-Max SX 700 that I got used for $600! (though I have put a lot of money into fixing up the sled).
