Anybody have any info on the 2009 arctic cat crossfire 800R. I got the opportunity to race one last weekend with my viper 780. And I annihilated this thing from start to finish. We raced from dead stop. And even tried from 30 mph punch. And I never seen him. Not even once. This one was studded and had clutch work. I guess my question is are these suppose to be fast ?? The guy was talking this thing up like it wAs. Said its suppose to be around 163 hp stock. Is it a good base line. Sled to say that my 780 is tuned properly. (First year I got it together and ran it) or is this guy just blowing smoke and thinks that his sled is fast. And it's not. Lol. I also have two other races waiting to happen. And that's between a 2012 f8. And a 2013 ski-doo 800 etec. Any thoughts on those
Congrats on that win, and I'll even say congrats on those 2 next sleds as you should take them too. Newer sleds just don't seem to have the top end as our " no suspension, low lugged tracked" sleds that we have. Sled setup and maintainace will win 90% of all races between comparable and bigger cc sleds.
Now, the first 500 ft may be a different story lol.

CFRs are fast, crossfire not as much, different clutching gearing and length/width tracks

That's what it was is a cfr 800 it had the 14x1x128 inch track. It said cfr right on the side. I just thought it short for crossfire lol. I've never really kept up with the arctic cats and there specs. Cause I've never really liked um that much.
