I've been restoring an '80 340 Enticer Deluxe. I want to remove the hand lettered Reg numbers from the hood. What is the best way to do it?

PPG DX440 or Acetone will probably remove it. I wouldn't leave it on long though as it may bite into the existing paint under the stripes...be careful & try on a small area first

A couple of bucks

We used rubbing compound to remove the painted pinstriping on a older exciter. Worked great with some elbow grease!
