Yamaha 300 inviter liquid cooled porting job?

Does anyone know or have experience with porting or modding a 300 inviter motor?
I have a guy who can do the porting and a guy to make a pipe for it. Just wondering if anyone has a clue what rpm to shoot for. 8000?
I'm putting it in a Enticer 250 chassis with a 102c clutch and plan to oval and CC race it.
