Looking for some advice from one of the viper guru's. My 02 viper starts and runs fine however, it acts like it is on a Rev limiter sometimes. It will not accelerate and the rpm's will stay at about 3000 rpm's, then it will slowly go back to normal and then will take off again. There are no service lights on, what should I try?

Tors, your throttle cable is to tight.Loosen it up ,it can be pretty loose and you will still get wot.

Thanks, it turned out to be the tors. Still did it with the cable and idle readjusted. Bypassed the tors and it runs great. should I clean switch or just replace? Switch is only 35 bucks.
If you've got the time take the switch off the carb rack and clean it,there's likely a little buildup inside it. Spray it down with electrical contact cleaner and put a little dab of dielectric grease on the contacts then you should be good to go.
