I need some more storage on my SRX, has anyone used a windshield bag? I like the like the fact they don't stick out do much I was just wondering if you can still use one with a bender cold air kit and a low windshield....are your gauges stil visible? If anyone had a pic of one please post...thanks

Can't say I've even seen a windshield bag for an SRX (I had one on my last sled), but I use a Yamaha tank bag which doesn't offer a lot of extra room except the two side pockets will hold a 16 bottle of water each side. The middle pocket has the clear map pocket and another under it which gets two pairs of lightweight gloves and spare goggle lenses. Probably room for more but I ride the tank a lot. The gloves help pad the cojones.

If you go with a windshield bag try lifting the hood with and without it. Depending on how much you load into it - there's a lot of weight up high.

Yes you can get them for an srx, not sure if it will fit with a low windy....it should. I have a handlebar bag and a clutch cover bag which is plenty of storage for me. I also have pants with 5 big pockets so I just stuff crap in them too! Lol

I use this one for extended rides, kind of takes away from the cool look but works good and is not in the way.

I like the tank bag w/the map pocket center and two side pockets. I ride up on the tank in the twisty trails, and if you put soft things (dry gloves, etc.) in the two side pockets your knees can sqeeze and grip the sled. It really gives you a locked in feeling with the sled, while you keep good weight on the skiis for cornering. Also the padding protects your knees if you are too far forward in the air and come down hard or off camber.
