I've been sleeping on the idea of re jetting my sxr700 (little worried about fuel)
My question is, how noticeable is changing the Jets performance wise? Let's say I were to drop a size or 2 from stock, are we talking small top end gains or like 10kmh? I've rejetted other things bikes boats and other sleds just not a redhead.

not worried about finding them, just wondering how big the improvement is? and i guess if i jet down that is the end of running regular fuel?

Ya know, I thought about jetting down on my 97sx7. I figured that the gains that I made with rejetting , did not out weigh the longevity that is offered w/ slightly fat jetting.

Either you want improved performance ($$$) or not. Premium gas is a small price compared to piping and clutch setup such as heel clickers.not worried about finding them, just wondering how big the improvement is? and i guess if i jet down that is the end of running regular fuel?

yeah, guess they will stay stock. i do alot of back pack trips into "no mans land" where fuel is questionable so i guess its not worth the risk of a burn down for an extra few mph.
