I have a SRX 700. I am just wondering what the best oil is to use. Klotz, Red Line, Yamalube, Mystik, Arctic Blue, are all around the same price. Looking to find some personal experience with any of the oils i listed. Pro's or Con's. I now use Amsoil Intercepter, and am looking to switch.

I've been using the amsoil interceptor for sometime now and PVs look good, actually haven't checked them in a while. I also like klotz, smells nice

My Sig shows my mileage, actually just under 15,000 miles now after my last trip. Still has 118-116 compression, past a leak down test at 11,000 miles. It's never saw anything except Yamalube. Power valves have never been carboned up or stuck.

This is just my observation on my sled, but it's worked very well for me.

first off. why are you switching from ams oil? I dont think you could go wrong with any of those but I would go with yamalube or mystik because its good oil at a value.

how much are you guys picking your oil up for? just got a few 5L jugs of shell full synthetic for 40$ each... seemed like a good deal.

that stuffs $80 a bottle on royal

I know! What a rip! I went to Royal and bought a jug for 70$, then on the way home I saw a flyer for Canadian tire with the same oil for 40$! Ahaha I turned right around and returned that jug at royal then bough 2 cases at c tire........ What a mark up.

Not trying to change this threads course, but what are everyone's thoughts on shell ultra syn oil? I don't hear much about it.
