Just wondering, I have a o2 srx with a stock track, I used to run the tension alittle loose, I have now studded the track with 192 piks and chiesels. My question is should I run the track tighter because of the studs or can I leave it loose...thanks guys......

You basically want to run it as loose as possible without jumping cogs. Obviously it will have more traction now, so you may want to tighten it some. (depends where you had it before) I would just run it and see if it is jumping cogs. If it does you can tighten it some and try again. Trial and error. Someone else may have the specs on tightening it, but I have found it better to go by testing it. Then I know it is as loose as possible without jumping cogs.

just run it so that it has about an inch of sag when it is suspended in the air. That should be fine. Mine never rachets, and i have the factory set of slides on with 5,300 miles.

I just thought that when u ran studs you wanted to run the track alittle tighter so when the track flex's the studs will not hit anything.

when running studs you want the track slightly tighter. Do you have tunnel protectors and heat exchangers protectors.
