Had some ratcheting happen on the last ride of last year. Stopped right away and put it back on trailer. Found jackshaft bearing behind the secondary was very loose. I am in the middle of removing the jackshaft and wondering if the shaft is worn from the bearing being loose. Attached a picture. I measures 24.45 - 24.7 diameter where the bearing sits... There is a step in the shaft and Im not sure if this is there from factory or if the shaft is same diameter throughout.
Any help is appreciated.

If you need a shaft I have one from my 99 that I have no use for. You can have it for cost of shipping or come pick it up if you want. Too the best of my knowledge there was nothing wrong with it as it was in the sled and running fine when the engine locked up. Parted the sled a couple years ago and its been hanging on the wall and going to the swap meets ever since. Let me know if you need/want it.

Gotcha - I was in a meeting for work and missed the humor I don't think it would cost a lot to get it to you if you end up needing it.

K. Bearing was fine, but I guess if it was my sled and I was tearing it apart I'd probably put a new one in. Up to you
