I'm new to the yamaha's in this site so this has prob been askd before if so im sorry. i just trade my 03 rev 800 for a 03 rx1, i'v always wanted one soo bad in iv mostly herd of the apex then some of the rx1 in finding out that the rx1 is like the apex but idk if theirs a lot different between them or if its just the suspension or what it is any info would be a big help thank you for reading this.

RX1 and Apex are related, as the Apex series is the successor to the RX series. Besides suspension differences, I've noted a few more below, but this is a general list, I'm sure there's much more.
RX carbureted, Apex fuel inj.
RX lower seats, Apex taller seats.
Body plastics are different, including RX has hinged hood like older sleds, Apex has panels with 1/4 turn fasteners.
Windshield/headlight pod/parts are different between them, RX setup opens with hood while Apex unit stays on sled until you unbolt it and slide it off.

With an RX1, you'll want to spend more time here:

apex had the mono rear skid, only the 05 rx1 had it. it is a different chassis, riding the two will leave you feeling like they are two different sleds completely!
