so while out riding today, my cell phone died. not that it really mattered cause there was no service anyway. however, my goggles kept fogging during the ride home and this almost tripled the time it took me to get back home. so to say the least, my wife was slightly upset that I was over 4 hours late coming home and she hadn't heard from me.
short of following her recommendations to sell my sled, im looking for some type of GPS locator to carry with me for her piece of mind. i don't think i need something that updates real time, just something that pings occasionally and that she could log on to from home and see that im progressing along.
I did a little research but everything I found comes with monthly charges...anyone using anything like this and what are you using????
