Which pattern do you guys prefer when studding? I like the pattern in the Dennis Kirk catalogue. Lots of ppl make their own pattern.

I have a V pattern like this up the middle and then one in every pitch outside the rails for a total of 192, hooks up good in a straight line and the outside ones really help with cornering. Haven't had problems with the outsides tearing out even though I ride very aggressive but that's probably because I have so many.

There are some pretty odd looking patterns on the tech link. I like the V pattern also. I am surprised that I haven't done any this year except my own. I usually have people wanting me to stud their tracks not because they dont know how, they hate doing it. I have a system that allows me to install a lot of studs in a short amount of time but if I go too fast, I nick an idler wheel.
