Hey all.
I have a Vmax 700. It runs good, but just like anything else you have for awhile. You always want more. I am a noobie to the 2 stroke and snowmobile world. So can anyone give me so good upgrades to make my sled faster? I don't wanna go to crazy. I want it to still be reliable!! Also, I come from the diesel performance world where we have temp and pressure gauges for EVERYTHING! I haven't seen it yet, but do you guys think it would be worth it to run some gauges to make sure I'm not melting my motor or anything?
Thanks all!

That link you sent me won't open anything... Im a newbie to the 2 stroke world.. Could you tell me exactly what size, make, and whatever other info I need to specify to search for that will be direct for for my 1997 Vmax 700 Triple SX? I want to make sure I order the correct stuff the first time!
Or better yet, if you could post links on this thread or PM me links to a page where I can buy the exact parts I need.

Hmm that link worked for me. You try not using tapatalk? You can get there by selecting Ty tech at the top of page then select snowmobike tech then select clutches and jetting then clutches tunng and jetting page. There's tons of info everywhere in the tech section. I can pm you all the red head stuff as I saved it to a document.

Use Turks clutching from the Tech page, gear down one or two teeth on top gear, remove one or two layers from the headgasket, notch the reed cage, rejet and you will see a huge improvement over stock and a lot of bang for the buck. Mine ran like a raped ape in the day. You can always add pipes for more.
