Bout to drop my fresh rebuild back in sled.. Problem I had was putting on edges of on piston and they all looked to be running lean..gonna clean carbs and jets real God before I drop motor in and was wondering what the stock amount of turns the fuel screw should be out? Bringing it out makes it lean and going tight makes it rich right? I live in Illinois incase that help on knowing where I should set it as far as altitude and climate go.... Any help would be appreciated, thanks

I think the manual states 1-1/8, most run 1-3/4 to 2 with stock pilots. I would check mains, needle settings, needle jets etc. unless you already know what's in there.
