hello, looking to buy a 2002 srx and I found one but have a couple questions that maybe you guys can answer and help my decision lol anyways, found an 02 srx with 7500 mlies on it,the motor/clutches has never been touched, only thing that has been replaced are the powervalves and powervalve cables are brand new. should I be concerned with the motor with 7,500 miles on it? clutches? also, has a brand new track on it,a 1.5 intense (not to happy about the 1.5 track) would rather have a 1 inch with studs, how do these tracks do on a stock 02 srx? he said he just replaced all the bushings in susupension, and new bearings in the chain case and drive shaft. so bottom line,I can get it for $2,200..is that a fair price? or should I keep shopping. thanks for any help or advice.

I'm sure it's fine. U could take a compression guage with to see how the motor looks. I think the price is a little high.
If the PO maintained the sled, carbs, caps, etc. And used good oil, I'd say that motor is just breaking in. OK, maybe not but I wouldn't think twice about buying it "IF" I knew the history behind it.
Price is high though with those miles. Depending on condition, $1500-1800 around me. Good luck

You can always trim the lugs down to 1 inch with a sharp new razor knife. I'd go for it at 1800$

ok,thanks for all the advice and info. i to was thinking 1,500 to 1,800,he's asking $2,600 and says he wont go lower than $2,200...so i might have to pass on it untill he sits on it long enough to take $1,800 or less for it

Miles don't mean a lot, I have seen sleds that have way less miles than mine that don't even come close to being as nice. It all depends on how the sled was cared for and kept up. You said the sled was never apart so you should be able to look under the hood and do a compresion check and be pretty safe if all looks good. A $2200 dollar sled with a new track and driveline bearings is a $1500 sled without the new track.
