Is there a guide to the different models of Yamaha sleds in the 70's and 80's? Seems like there were a few options out there, but I'm not sure of the difference between an exciter, enticer, SRV, V-max etc.

Exciter 76-81 340, 440 fanner, Exciter 570 liquid 87-90, Exciter II liquid 91-93, Srv 540 fanner, 80-91, Vmax 540 liquid 83-87 (88-91 in Canada) Enticer 250 single,300 twin, 340 twin all fanners 77-82? first gen then 83 and up second gen I believe. The Srv and Vmax are probably the closest related since they share a similar chassis. I guess im not sure exactly what you are asking but I hope this helps.
There is a website that shows all yamaha sleds from day one and what each sled was all about. This is a new pc and I haven't gotten all my stuff from old one on here but I had it bookmarked. It may be on my external HD but can't remember if I saved bookmarks. I will look.
