Hey guy we just got 22" of fresh powder in the last three days so I got the a led going.
I just installed heel clickers 4.65 in shoulder the rest empty to see were it was at. Brand new 8dn belt.
You can feel it starting to grab the belt at 3800 but it doesn't move until 4200. 53/43 helix 70°. Now the problem is when I'm riding in the powder at 3/8 to 1/2 throttle for a min it starts to load up and start to burble and sound like its starting to miss. If I drop to 1/4 throttle it will clear up then its fine till I maintain 1/2 throttle again. If I'm horsing around and just keep going 1/4 to full it won't do it. I ran it down the road at 1/2 throttle and it runs fine I pulled the choke to see if its lean and it started running rough. I did a half throttle plug check and here's what they look like

one plug looks like its lean other 2 look ok, it could be the flash of camera on first one. kinda looks like the center electrode is silver all the way acorss indicating its spot on at that temp and tyou have no temp safety left, right on edge of lean. What does the top of the pistons look like, dry and carbon on all of it or wet on edges?
whats the current carb set up, fuel scews,pilots, needles and mains?

I thought the one looked a little lean to don but the back strap was ashy. I was fighting running rich on oil last year 25:1 and after I did the plug chop I ordered an oil pump. mains are 158.5 pilots 47.5 1.5 out I think the needles are in the middle with the mag 1/2 clip fatter. It was good last year at 10° and the way they look I think my pump might have a bad nozzle. Also need a shallower helix.
if your gonna use heel clickers get a helix with something around a 48-50 start and a 38-40 finish.
just looked at my clutch book, ran a 48/38 on a redhead with pipes and h/c worked great!

You wouldn't have anything in your notes about helix #s on a 600 twin w/ H/Cs would ya? Right now there's a 8BVFA w/ a green on her, a final drive = to 2:1, 144" 1.5 track.
