I'm thinking on changing my suspension on my srx. I'm leaning towards a 121" mono skid. I have read that they are high maintenance skids. Does anyone have experience with that? I would also like to know how much it changes the ride height. I mostly ride trails but would still like a suspension that hooks up and still lets me corner good. At first I was planning on doing the long travel setup from pioneer, but after riding rough trails all last weekend I think by the time I spend the money on that maybe I should get a better skid all together. I am thinking on doing the long travel front from pioneer after I get the rear done. What's everyones thoughts? Thanks
Do a search, skid is better in every way. Other skids work well to. Lots of reading available!

I have not found anything on how much it changes the ride height yet. Been searching for a while. I keep running across the same threads over and over again. I was thinking on trying the 4 stroke side for the maintenance of the skid although I am not too worried about that. Maintenance is the fun part in the off season. Thanks for the input.

Ride height would probably depend on mounting locations u use. Someone on here used to make templates with the right spots for mounting holes.
