wanting to change my stock black hard lines from my oil pump to manifold to yellow tygon so I can always see if pump is pumping . my stock black lines have some sort of metal clip on them so whats the trick to getting them off . I'm asking cause I read a post where a guy broke off his nipple in the intake manifold

My 74 to 77 433 engines ,,, the clip is a split band ,,, used heat gun to supple the rubber and then thumb nail to slide the split band back... it seems
to be the real hard rubber that makes them difficult ,, if clip comes off , maybe gently score the rubber length ways to be able to pull off
the old rubber ,,, DONT pry back and forth by the sounds of it.

thnx Ron i'll give it a try with my heat gun 1st . like i mentioned i read a guy broke his nipple off i dont want in that mess lol
