I have a 2001 SXR 700 that I picked up last season and realized recently that it has a carb heater system.
It has a simple ON/OFF valve but there's where my question comes in... Is the valve open when the word ON is visible or is it open when the valve arm is turned towards and covering the word ON.
Seems like a stupid question to be asking but all the reading I've been doing about the heaters on here are telling me having them ON or Off can effect my mpg and sled performance in warmer temps. So for that reason I would like to use them only when needed.
