I have to post this in the off brand topic as it is not a yamaha. I would like if someone could go there and listen to the rpm of my wildcat which I finally got running right. I replaced the main motor wiring harness and runs perfect. I clutched it and want to see if it sounds like its spinning too fast. Tach says 9000 but i dont trust it. I will post more details there. I'll agree with your "Cat" friends, lol, and say it sounds pretty good. Doesn't sound like 9k, I'd see if someone local can calibrate that tach. It would be nice to have an accurate one. Good luck
I got a whole dash coming for it from ebay. I need the harnesses for the indicator lights. Only one that works on mine is high beam. Maybe I'll swap tachs while I,m at it.
