Went for a rip last night going wot and let go the throttle and keeps shooting blue flames from my can and goes out when I press throttle again any ideas what would cause this

check the pilot's if they are 45s change to 47.5's.they are lean from stock.

U r starting to detonate I would check compression and piston.

the compression is perfectly fine, piston also

Wondering if timing is out of wack somehow. What do your plugs look like. Seems like it's dumping too much fuel into exhaust. If it was me I would take exhaust off, and see if there is fuel in there. And while it was off look into exhaust ports with mirror and light to see if there is damage happening to pistons

Is your can plugged up? If your creating a hot spot and holding fuel in it when you let off its sucking in a little bit of fresh oxygen hitting the hot spot with the fuel and pop. Red heads are known to pop just from over choking them during starting. A little fuel in the pipe meets the opening port flame and off it goes.
