Ok I put a blue less bulb in my mph and tach gauge 1999 srx 700. The mph works fine, but the Tachometer gauge for rpms and gas loses the rpms when led bulb is in, if i take the bulb out or put in a crappy wedge bulb it works fine. anyone else have this issue? Ive searched found nothing…any led bulbs that are better and won't cause this issue? Im looking for blue. any help would be appreciated thanks

Thats odd, Only thing I can think of is its not pulling enough wattage but tach and light are 2 different circuits. Like older cars if you put LED turn signal lights in, they wont flash because theres not enough load to trip flasher. Not sure but maybe tach and bulb share the same ground. I was going to put LEDs in mine also.

You may need to add a resistor in series with that LED. There formulas online to determine.
You will need the specs from that led you are trying to use.
I see you're from walled lake, so am I. Can't say I've seen ya out there...

Try to put the light in the other way. LEDs are diode's so the only allow electricity to flow one way
