I just bought the parts to add electric start to my viper from a member. Can someone post a pic of under the hood of their e-start sled? I know where the starter goes but do not know where the battery goes.
Any recommendations on batteries? What brand lasts the longest/what is the best value?
Anything I might need to know going into the installation?
Do I need to change my stator or is it the same?
Thanks guys, I appreciate any advice.

Here is a link to the install. http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/...-pics-please?highlight=electric start install as batteries i just go with who's is cheapest. Its all about the care of the battery, Im running NAPA batteries now that are 5 yrs old. My thing is make sure you take them out at the end of the season and store them where you dont get big temp changes like basement ect.... Then just put a 2 amp charge on them once a month. I dont like trickle chargers as they always seem to overcharge and kill the battery, IMO. And always used good distilled water after the initial fill to keep topped off. http://www.totallyamaha.com/snowmobiles/aaTECH/electric_start/electric_start_install.htm Link to pdf
