Hi guys do 700 redheads normally run fat or burbley for a bit when cold? I've had the carbs off and checked cleaned jets nozzles etc floats are all same from bowl base to float top viton needles not worn any other thoughts? Thanks

Thanks I'll get it out to a lake and take her for a rip soon plugs look ok I should get it in for a carb synch oil pump check when I pulled the bowls there was dark fuel in there.

the red head engines have a mid range burble in them and its amplified when it cold. let her warm up and get a set of reed spacersand i think dropping the needle a bit helps, it will almost be gone.

Royal distributing or make your own, it's not too hard. I can't remember on the needles. I think Turk recommended something in the tech section in the clutching pages for needles and jetting
