better open up the carbs and give all the jets a good cleaning. Also check your filter in the tank.Inspect all clutching components as well for worn out parts.

Just cleaned the carbs that's why I am so confused, but you say there is a filter in the tank? I have one by the air box, is there two filters?

You'll have to provide more detailed info.

What you describe could be caused by a half dozen engine and a half dozen driveline issues.

Have the clutches been serviced?

Any modifications? If so, what are they?

What rpms do you see at wot?

How long has this issue been happening? Was it out of the blue or has it been cronic?

What have you done so far to correct it?

Well the only thing that I have done to it is put a new track on it which is a 1 3/8", but there is no clutch noise. Could this be caused by the faulty oil pump that these were known to have? Or is this caused by the larger track?

I'd look for something amiss with the installation - happens to the best of us.

Does it have front heat exchanger protectors and if so, did you trim the lugs of the new track where they meet/rub the protectors?

A 1" track will wear away but 1 3/8" may take some time and would, I'd expect, add some drag.

Are the gears in the chain case aligned?

Proper alignment/CtoC of the primary/secondary?

No clutch noise doesn't tell you they're okay. Have either the primary or secondary been serviced?

Did it start acting up right after the track change? Sounds like worn bushings in the clutch possibly.
