Ignition coil question

I was wondering if Coils from a 2000 SRX 700 would work or be the same as the ones on My 98 VMax SX 700, and wondering what other parts would be compatible??? Thanks for any help

Do they bolt to the motor or the air box, I know on my 02 SXR the coils bolt to the motor and are the same one used n a SRX.

I think the 2000 srx had the newer 360 coils. Don't think they'll work.

They bolt on the air box on my 98 SX, they bolt on the engine on the SRX

So there is the answer, the coils will not work, I think the 01 and up have the different stator for the 300 watt system, I also have it it my 02 sxr. Same coils. You need the same ones that you have now I think.
