OEM reeds and reed spacers. I do not have the mid range burble after adding spacers. of course I added pipes and changed carb settings at the same time. Have heard Vforce 2 will make some more power on dyno but they don't last. i.e. carbon fiber pieces chipping off and going into motor.

And raise needles 1/2 clip.
whats is the part number for the stainless stoppers or what sleds have them if I find some used ones?
Does notching make them weak?
Does reed spacers cause any interference or problems with anything?
I am assuming you do not need to re-jet with these options.

I raised the needles 1/2 clip when I put the reeds in and I am incredibly rich. My plugs are black, ground burn is good but black plugs.

2. Notching on stainless is perfectly fine.
3. Reed spacers might require you to shim engine or get a "crooked" steering shaft.
4. No re-jetting required.

4DA are the old galvanized ones that have a tendency to crack.
Looks like the 8dj is the part number now when you look them up. Also sounds like the stainless stoppers and notching them is the way to go. Just need to find some one who has a bench grinder
