Ok, so here's the deal. I'm gonna be doing a bunch of mods to my sled in the next while. To start off..... what I want to so is wheelie. I don't care about going to fast (at least 60 or 70 mph would be nice). I have a 2002 yamaha SX viper. Stock besides some clutching from previous owner and MbrP can. I would like to rebuild it and put a different skid and 1.5 inch track in it. Also put new drives on and gear it down. What are some good gear ratios and where can I get some new drivers? Also does anyone know any good clutching setups? Thanks guys!

Gear it down 2 teeth on the top gear, bender
Clutch kit, 1.75 skidoo 440 track and a skidoo Sc10 with ACM rear skid
It will be wheelie good!

Get a set of drivers from avid, and if you go with the smaller anti rachet drivers to fit that 1.75 you may only want to go -1 on the top gear

your gona have to drop from 9t to 8t anyways which is enough. Go 1.75" track and you will want the antislip drivers. skid swap (newer doo skid, edge/iq, or a mono). Get some aggressive clutching and start taking as much weight as you can off.

Found a 2005 sc4 skid for 300 bucks..... will that do the trick?? does anyone have a link to somewhere I can find some 8 tooth drivers??

That is a good skid to swap yes. youl need measurements for mounting the skid which i believe is different between the rev and xp versions. these are the ones I have http://www.wahlracing.com/2.52-No-Slip-Drive-Sprockets.html The track im using is one of the factory polaris race tracks for 2013 which was only used for that one year 1.875x15x121 along with a poo edge skid. Since you need new drivers you can get a 120" track from a doo if its more convenient. Im guessing this is gona be a ditchbanger?

Yup, I'm thinking about buying a Camoplast backcountry 1.75 inch track. I'll buy those drives. What should I do for front shocks? My front end sits so bagged out rn it's pretty much lying on the ground lol. I think I am going to rebuild my sled also. Do you have any experience with spi pistons? I have heard good and bad. I was thinking about buying some because of how cheap they are! ($170 for all 3).
Thanks,
Jake

preload up on your shocks? If so their sagged out. a few companies offer stiffer springs or even dual and triple rate spring sets. What makes you think you need a rebuild? Even though I almost want to tell you to go with oem stuff I actually havent heard many bad things about the spi stuff... Up to you if you want to spend a little more for proven quality.

The mag side of my sled was raising my eyebrow. I had 110 psi on it and my pto side had 110 and 120 in the middle. The mag is what I would like to rebuild but I would obviously rebuild all across if I need to do the mag.
What do you think?

If I put the sc4 skid in.... its the front mounting bracket i can use right? and i will have to move the rear mounting brackets?
