Usually a pretty simple job!!! I can get the track to losses or tighten but can't get it to go left or right. I've loosened the wheels and tried To adjust but won't go left or right any suggestion? Ice perhaps ?

Axle nut loosen yes, and and jam nuts haven't really loosen all the way to see if axle will move. But I could try loosening all the way.
It should still be moving side to side with different adjustment, Withought completly loosening?

I'm not aware of any jam nuts on an '02 SRX for track adjustment. The adjustment nyloc nuts are through the track windows. Are you spinning the track with the engine and letting it coast to a stop on it's own before checking alignment (the hyfax to track clip clearance/gap)?

I ask about the skid and speedo because either can cause an inconsistant track alignment. If the track is pushed to one side - Tighten that side a 1/4 turn until it shifts to the other side, back off a little until the gap is equal on each side. Spinning the track after each adjustment. Tighten the axle and final check alignment.

If it goes out after tightening the axle, check the rail slots where the axle goes through for nick/gouges.

Yes I'm adjusting through the track window. And tried turning the adjusters a little at a time 1/4 turn and still no shifting.
I've adjusted this track in the past with fast and good results. Not really sure what's up this time but it's starting to frustrate me but I'm gona try any tricks that have worked before.
Is there a starting point so I can just start from scratch.
The skid has been completely serviced new bearings wheels, sliders. And I had adjusted perfectly since then.

Once in a great while I've had the rear axle stick in position and the track wouldn't adjust. With the axle nut plenty loose, I back out the adjuster nuts until the adjusters are sloppy, counting the same number of turns each so I can return to same position. Lift the flap and kick the track forward, careful if you have studs, you're boot'l stick to 'em, and your foot will too if the studs are long enough, lol! Or you could use a board across the track and a hammer. You can also try to hit the axle nut and axle head with a rubber mallet to loosen it up, just be careful as the axle is aluminum, I'd set the nut end flush with the axle end and make sure not to damage any threads. Either way with the hammer, I've never had to hit too awful hard to get the rear axle to "pop" loose, I think the spacer collars of the axle sometimes stick to the slide rail, spray them down with WD40 or similar when they are loose to help prevent any issues next time.
