just wondering if i split my primary clutch and used a aluminum cutter and dug out the hair line cracks around the inside of the sheeve and then tig welded it back up and got it machined , would this work or is it hillbilly and my clutch is going to fly thew my hood ? its not easy finding a new primary without those grooves or hair line cracks

no,no,and no, dont do it, youll soften the aluminum welding it and it will come apart and will either injure you or kill you.

Thanks guys that's what I figured the cracks are minor I will keep an eye on them wile I keep and eye out for new sheeves
