Can I run the 8bu weights in a 750 primary on an 800 engine and expect similar/same performance as an 800 primary. I am asking this because I have a good 750 primary and an 800 primary with small cracks on the movable sheave.

you can use 8bu weights in a 750 primary. the difference is in the clutch rollers. the 800 used .15 mm rollers. the 750 used .16.5 mm rollers. i also liked going to the tall cover, 1998 and newer, than you can use srx springs way better performance options 3:16 (yammie tony)
