What kind of temp gauges do you guys recommend? i got a 2003 yamaha sx viper. i dont want to spend more then $100 on one... it could just be a single screen. i want to know the water temps, engine temps, and exhaust temps. i was looking at the TTO temp gauge, anybody have any reviews on them?

Thanks in advance guys!!

I googled tto gauges and it doesn't appear the tto would do what you want, nor would spending under $100.00.

The temp gauges either read cylinder head temps through a sensor ring under the spark plug or a coolant sensor in the coolant flow. Coolant temp out would be the most useful and you'd still have money left to put towards a rear cooler.

To read exhaust temp/s you'd need exhaust probe thermalcouple/s and apiece they will eat nearly half your budget. Then there's the meter.

Thier GPS/combo units look kinda cool but don't appear to show a map.

Thanks for the reply! Do you have any other ideas on a gauge I should invest in?

I have a KOSO temp gauge. I think it was around $100 came with tee fitting to splice in the coolant hose and a small LCD screen I mounted on the handlebars.

Check ebay. Type the key word "Cyberdyne". Theres a blue one that ends today at $15. Go digital.
Summit racing sells them at $80.
Shop around other sites are less.
