I have a 1997 sx700 was running great fouled a plug and then replace fouled plug now machine has way less power wont rev up and eats twice as much fuel 140 psi in all cylinders
plugs are wet when removed could this be a reed valve issue carbs where serviced 300 miles ago so I don't think they will be the issue Any help would be great Thanks Dave

When was the last time plug caps were changed? Even if it has spark it might not be enough.
They were new last year 2000 miles ago

Maybe chokes are sticking? Sometimes the cable gets sticky and wont let them close all the way.
I have checked the choke cable and all seems well there Could a bad reed valve cause this issue as I don't know the affects of one

My first ? Who serviced your carbs did they check float heights jets etc if all your plugs are wet that's too much fuel a little crud can screw up your sled I would start there I believe on the sx700 the float adjut is 0.60 or a little more than 1/2 inch there's probably a sticky for that on here.
