Does anyone have an inner chaincase half with a lower seal in it that could measure the depth of it for me?I have to put a new one in my case and can't remember how deep into the case it needs to go so it matches the ring on the drive axle.

guessing this is on an srx? if the chain case is anything the same as a sxr this is how i do it. put the bearing in the freezer then heat the case up, drop the bearing in and put the snap ring in. then take the seal and tap it back till it lightly seats against the bearing. this is how i have always done it and have never had a failure.
