I always hear of people saying to switch the front ends on the mountian max to the viper front end why is this? Wats are the benefits of doing this?

You get almost 1.5" of front end lift because the spindles are longer. You have to do a full trailing arm/spindle/steering arm because nothing interchanges between the two.

I put spindles and top spindle arms- then bushing to make up the trailing arm height. Worked for me.

You can run aftermarket parts, like CB Performance or Fabcraft, and shave off a lot of weight at the same time. A complete front end kit used to be $1200, its probably more now. I think it saved almost 10 Lbs.
