Hi I have a friend that has a 78 pantera and he seen my exciter 440 with the 85 Phazer skid I installed so now he would like to see if he can get a newer skid to install in his sled. Has anyone here ever done one up or know of someone that has? I heard a zr skid might work but I can't find any specs on it. If you have info we would greatly appreciate it thanks.

You would most likely have to change the track and drivers to accomodate a newer skid in the Pantera. I believe the Pantera is a runs a track that is 16" wide and has 7" slide centers. Newer skids and tracks are 9" slide centers. Also, I believe you would have to change the drivers because not only would the center be off, the pitch is different than the common 2.52.
Just one thing to do. Experiment
