Correction, 2005 Venom.
While riding last week near Old Forge, NY in sub zero temps, the speedo and tach suddenly stopped working on my sons Venom. Everything else works. I've checked the sensor and it doesn't seem to be damaged or loose. I can't find much on the forum about it and from what I can tell the sensors don't seem to fail very often. Any suggestions? I can pick up a new OEM one for around $70 but was hoping to trouble shoot it first. I checked the sensor connector and wiring from what I can see it's fine.
Is it possible the gauge is bad? Just reads 0.
Thanks,
Tom

Check for rub through on the wiring that goes to your gauges. They can sometimes come loose and rub on exhaust
