Hello totally Yamaha. I need some advice. I race in the CPT (circuit pro tour) I race in the pro vintage super mod class, 1974 Yamaha GPX 433 and I have to say its BAD fast. This past week I was in Valcourt QC for the Grand Prix ski-doo Valcourt. I placed 2nd in both my finals. This coming weekend is Eganville for the Bonnechere cup. Next year I was thinking about moving up to the Pro formula 500 class. As I was walking around talking with my competitors I noticed that there are NO Yamahas racing in the pro ice oval circuit, with the exception of vintage. There are tons of Polaris, Ski-doo and Arctic cat. this concerned me because I thought Yamaha would want to be part of the ice oval family. My question is, If I move up to the Pro formula 500 class or even Pro champ class, what Yamaha model would you suggest I build from?
