So after reading for 20min, I have found out many variations of vague jetting for this sled.

It would be nice to have one thread where this is answered once and for all. Why I was looking is It has been years since I had one and have a customers sled with one on it. I wanted to check jetting to make sure.

The one I am looking for is a stock 98 700 srx with cold air kit and no foam curtain, and stock box.

Please list below, your year, mods, configuration of air box, with or without curtain(foam that mates it to the cowl) and of course, jetting, mains, pilots, fuel screws and needle settings.

Thanks and hope everyone is getting on the snow.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my 700 redhead. I don't even know the stock jet size. It's getting a mild port so I think I'm gonna go richer and I don't know what size to go to.

BTV, I have the Thunder Products on my Viper w/srx pipes.Srx carbs etc.I will post the info. later.

02 Viper with srx pipes and silencer:
Thunder products cold air kit
air box not gutted, foam filter intact
I did the racelogic port template not sure if it did much. It didn't change clutching.
Srx heads, water rail, carbs, cdi, basically an srx now.
152.5 mains,needles 3.5,fuel screws 2 turns. I was lean with 150 mains @ 20 degrees,fat with 155s.

Scott, I ran 152.5s in my 2000. air box intact but had 3 holes drilled in the top shelf centered over the tubes underneath. Don't remember the exact size of the holes anymore. Maybe 1 1/2 to 2 inch. I had the foam that sealed to the hood. Stock pilots and needles
