I currently have the ngk ZFR5F-11 plugs in my srx. Have to replace one am wondering if I should change to something else or continue with these. They spark further into the firing chamber and I had no problems with them. When the windchill was minus 40 sled fired in 6 or 7 pulls so was running Good.

I personally wouldn't use them. Don't mess with a good thing - perhaps. Have just you been lucky - perhaps.
My SRX started in -28f actual in three tugs with the 3 original BR9ECS plugs that came with it new.
Well, it did a couple years ago in the U.P.
Just last week it lit in 3 after sitting outside in -12f, -26f w/c. original plugs.

+1...wind chill had nothing to do with actual temp. I would run Br9ecsSleds don't feel windchill!!

Windchill will cool a warm sled faster but only to ambient temp. -28? Were you just seeing how many pulls it would take or did you go riding?

We rode.
Not going to drive 5 hours just to sit in the cabin. I don't remember to what, but it did warm up later in the day.

I don't think it was ever that cold here. -16f or -18 is as cold as I remember. You probably had the trails to yourself!
I'll have to look that up. The recorded coldest temp here. I think the coldest I rode this year was -3 and I wasn't even cold and heated shield still worked good. I thought it was like 15 above that night, until nature called! Then I knew it was cold!
